What is Paperline?

Paperline is a desktop tool that helps you build mobile apps by chatting with an AI agent. The service is in closed beta (free) and provided "as is". Supported: macOS 13+.

1. Account & Eligibility

You must be 13+ (or 16+ in the EEA/UK unless local law allows lower age with parental consent). Keep your account info accurate and your credentials secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.

2. Your Content & Outputs

You own the apps, code, and content you create with Paperline. You are responsible for reviewing outputs, dependencies, licenses, and compliance with third-party terms (stores, SDKs, OSS) before distribution.

License to Paperline. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, royalty-free license to process your content only to provide the service (compilation, previews, sync, support) and to ensure security/compliance.
AI & Providers. We route your prompts/code to third-party LLMs (currently Anthropic and OpenAI) for inference only. We do not use your content to train models. Providers may retain limited logs for safety/abuse review under their policies.

3. Acceptable Use

No illegal content; no malware, exploits, or attempts to bypass rate limits or security; no IP infringement; no scraping or reverse engineering of the service; follow applicable app-store rules.

4. Paid Features

If paid plans are offered, you agree to posted prices/terms. Taxes are your responsibility. Non-payment may suspend access.

5. IP Claims

Report copyright/trademark complaints to hello@paperline.ai with sufficient detail for review. We may remove content and suspend repeat infringers.

6. Beta, Warranties, Liability

Beta / Free Plan. Beta and free features are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to US $100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits or data). If we introduce paid features later, we will update these Terms with any additional terms before they take effect. Nothing here limits liability where that would be unlawful.

7. Changes, Suspension, Termination

We may change features or these Terms; for material changes we'll notify you. We may suspend or terminate the service or your access for cause (e.g., abuse, legal requirement). Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; your local projects remain on your device.

8. Assignment & Notices

We may assign these Terms in connection with forming a legal entity or a business transfer. Notices to you may be sent to your account email.
